It changed his mindset
Just swam inside for way too long
He'll never find it
What he just lost, a mind is gone
The rivers pretty deep
They told us just to keep,
Our heads held up so
We don't sink down too low
Beneath the coldest floor
The ice shelter, the oldest door
Though harmony forbade
keepin me in the shade
He didn't wanna be
What all the others said he was
Annoying company
A problematic part of piece
The love inside was dead
No good thoughts inside my head
The ugliness escapes
Vampires without capes
A dream of warm soft sheets
But nights without sleep
Please just try to be nice
To me tonight
Covered in blankets
Lying in the basement
The walls all soaked in
Thoughts were just hiding now
A lonely holiday
Gold clouds were always grey
Pretty people were ugly
But still a part of me
What do you want from this
Silly apology
This unfair exchange
Just take it all away

this album is so vibey and groovy. you can love, bond, and cry to this. really has that surf/garage rock vibe and is one of mac demarco's best albums not a lot of people know about. there will never be anything like ying yang or another ying yang. 10/10 steven_is_cool
